Hey NICO,

We are really excited to announce our newest product release for 2004, our Supra TT / 300ZX Big Brake Upgrade!

For all of you guys with high speed SR and KA-T 240's, and of course the RB guys, this is something you should most definately consider.

The Underground Motorsports/McKinney Motorsports Kit consists of everything you need to get the Brake kit on the car:

Supra TT Rotors (cross drilled/slotted are optional)300ZX Aluminum Calipers240SX to 300ZX Brake LinesHigh Performance Brake PadsCustom Conversion BracketAll Hardware and necessary installation parts

We offer the redrilled 4-lug rotors and no extra cost!

Why upgrade?

The 300ZX Calipers are 280mm, not bad, but not great either. The Supra TT rotors are 324mm, nearly a 20% increase in surface area. We created this kit for for those that are serious about their cars performance. For those that are for show, you will love this kit as well.

17" wheels are required as you can barely get two fingers in between the rotors and wheel. You will also need 5 lug hubs, we are working on possibly releasing a 4 lug version. (Higher Prices will apply.)

The editor at HCI Magazine (SR 240SX owner) loved the kit so much, he is devoting an entire article in the May issue. Look for this at bookstores in late March!

Retail prices are going to be $975 for the complete kit, and we should have them in stock starting next week.

For those who have already done the 300ZX Conversion, we are offering the Supra TT slotted/drilled rotors, 240SX to 300ZX Brake Lines, and Conversion brackets, plus all needed hardware for $499.99.

I have attached some photos for you to check out, the kit is shown on a 18" wheel. You can imagine how it would fill a 17".

You can email me at [email protected] with your questions!

We are working hard to bring out 240SX products that will compete with alot of the JDM stuff, but at a more reasonable price.

Your exactly right, I love Rotora, don't get me wrong, but this kit will definately give it a run for the money.

Haha,

Well, start ordering guys so that our hard work didn't go to waste. :D

I feel we have given really awesome pricing. I spent my day checking 300ZX Brake Upgrade kits on online car websites and our pricing was in most cases cheaper to do our Supra TT kit than their regular 300ZX kit, and we have more hardware.

So, I am well pleased and I think that this will be a hot item.

I don't know about most other shops, but this industry is not the kind of industry you go into, to make money. You won't see me at my shop driving a McLaren. But, it is very gratifying seeing customers happy with our parts and to me is worth more than any amount of money I can have. I wake up every morning and love my job. I wouldn't trade it for anyhing.

We are purely a 240SX tuning/retail shop in Little Rock, AR and I hope that our partnership with McKinney Motorsports will only help bring the East and West Coast together....

Look for some really cool stuff to go down this year, our R&D is going to be on fire this year... This is only a taste of what's to come for 2004.....

What if we have calipers and lines already? Will individual parts like the brackets and such be sold seperately?

Hi,

We knew that there would be potential customers that had already done the 300ZX swap, so let me tell you what we have to offer....

We do have a package for $500 that includes:

Supra TT Rotors240SX to 300ZX Brake LinesConversion Brackets with Hardware

Im sorry I forgot to post this, but I am not going to sell the brackets by themselves or we'll have folks just buying them and trying to replicate them.....

Thanks for your question!

The problem is 4-lug Supra TT rotors, they would have to be custom made. We are looking at the options....

How many of you would be seriously interested in a 4-lug kit? I have no problem what you guys want, but keep in mind, anything I do cost lots of money....

the main reason people convert to 5 lug is to get the 300zx brake upgrade... so if you come out w/ a 4 lug big brake kit, that would eliminate people having to buy hubs. meaning, more people buying the kit already made for the 4 lug instead of having to deal w/ the 5 lug conversion.this would be great and i'd be interested! :ylsuper

Couldn't you just take the rotor to a machine shop and have it drilled for the 4x114.3 bolt pattern? I know they were doing that with the 300zx rotors.

Yeah, you can have them redrilled. My only concern with this is structural integrity, we don't want to release any part that could be faulty....

This is one area you don't want to be liable for....

Hi,

We are coming out with a rear setup and we already have the rear lines, but it won't be released for at least another month. You can check up on our website periodically for updates...

Rebuilt Nissan Calipers - $110 (pair) @ autozone w/ coreBrembo Drilled 5 Lug 300ZX Rotors - $140 a pairKVR Carbon Kevlar Pads (Front) - $54Stainless 240sx to 300Zx lines (front) - $80Clip/Springs/pins - $40

Some prices were sourced from PDM-Racing's site.

Also, everyone who buys these kits will either need 5 lug upgrades. (Attain 5 lug conversions - $300) or junkyard hub/spindle/drill shocks from 5 lug 240/300zx. Rears will also need 5 lug hubs. (300zx)

Or simply re-drill 5 lug brakes for 4 lugs.($40)

I am not here to start price fighting.

We have put alot of R&D into our kits, which is reflected to some extent in our pricing.

Feel free to check out almost any 240SX online store, and I guarantee you that you will find the pricing for just the 300ZX Brake Kit hardware to be around $1000+.

I'm sure if you want to put together your own kit and spend your money having custom brackets fabricated, then you might come out a little cheaper..

But you are paying for a kit this is unique and is geared towards performance....

I get the same thing almost every day about the prices on the McKinney kits, but you know that probably 10 Mckinney kits are sold for every other companies 1 kit out there....

I question the selection going w/ Supra rotors, but this is your kit.

Brembo Rotors Zinc plated Black - Charles is great to deal with

http://www.twinturbo.net/net/v...63795

Rebuilts from Autozone (Nissan rebuilds) - Send in s13 calipers as cores $50 a piece + shipping

http://www.autozone.com/

Obviously PDM is out to make a profit, much like any other company selling these "kits". I am not trying to discourage anyone from spending their hard earned money, but I would like to bring to light that these items can be sourced at better prices.

All nissan OEM parts can purchased thru Coz at discounted prices.http://conceptzperformance.com/

Personally, I think you would sell more kits if you lowered the price. Quantity will always win.

I talked with Mack McKinney this morning and we have decided to sell the 4-lug redrilled Supra TT rotors for all you non-upgraded guys! Lol!

We won't be charging anything extra for the redrilled rotors, it's on us!

Thanks guys for your requests!
