The guy who's helping build my engine is convinced that it can make 700hp+ and I believe him since he runs a 900hp+ 4cyl Mustang. What I need to know is what supporting mods do I need to change. I have an idea but, there's always somebody that knows more. So far I'm thinking Spec stage V clutch, N1 water pump(does it fit the rb20), bigger injectors(current ones flow 730cc), ignition (switching to Accel gn coil pack), ecu.....Nistune, Megasquirt, Haltech I'm not sure. The block is getting Eagle RB26 rods, R33 RB26 crank, custom 82mm JE pistons, and more than likely Calico bearings. The head has been ported and has tomie springs and 260*/8.8 cams. With a little more practice I will be making a log manifold to keep the turbo in the stock position with a t4 flange. Also I've only seen one oil pan with an enlarged sump and they wanted something like $800 for it. Is there any reason I can't just cut off the bottom of my pan and make it bigger and lengthen the pickup? Here's a cool vid of the guy that helping me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnW4W6ot5kY

sounds like this guy knows what he is doing so i'd take his advice.i'd look into the fuel setup a bit more carefuly...ditch any walboro pumps for a proper fuel setup.you'll need to keep the 80% rule for injectors in mind so you'll proly need close to 1kcc injectors for your fuel.z32 maf is only capable of reading 500 or so hp but i hear with nistune you can use the lightning maf which apparently can read close to your goal.keep the stock rb20 waterpump as the n1 is designed for track racing, not drag racing.keep revs sane and with a good tune i think 700 is definately doable.
