Picked up another q....91 so it's emissions exempt. Two tone purple and silver with a chocolate interior, classy as f***.

Also pulling the ka in a week or so to start the head swap. Lots of pics to come.

Pulling the engine just to swap the head?

My machinist is going to gasket match the intake and exhaust side and make sure there's a nice smooth blend into his port job. The real reason tho is to degree the BC 272 cams....SOOOOO much easier on a stand than in the car, and to swap clutches.

Also swapping out clutch/flywheel and transmissions. The tranny I have is toast, and the D21 set-up I'm running just cant be trusted above 400hp.

Current: Stock D21 Flywheel/Luk Gold Pro D21 Clutch (240mm white bunny) I'm at 420 @ the crank right now...not sure how far I can push it
Going to: RB25 stock flywheel/ACT NZ1 XTSS 350Z Clutch (250mm white bunny) Rated good up to 580 @ the crank...should be all I ever need.

Also repainting the Bay and polishing a few things while its out.

Still working on it. Cooked the ECU. It's back at AEM getting repaired. Machinist is getting married in 3 weeks, so I'm currently headless as he and his future wife prepare.

In the meantime I've gone back to the darkside....bought a 97 eclipse spyder, AND a 96 awd talon. Busy working on that swap. Pics galore soon.

s12 is down until I get the ECU back....so unless I flatbed it, no. when is Carlisle this year?

Sad news for anyone with an AEM EMS V2....

AEM is no longer stocking extra boards for the V2. We all new this day was coming, considering the V2 is almost 12 years old. I just got off the phone with their tech support and my only options are to upgrade to Infinity...

They will still repair them...and have most parts, but if you do something epically stupid like I did and fry the accessory board your SOL.
