click the PM in the initial post from mchedaddi, make a log in to the 'other' forum, and PM that guy.

would do it if i lived in fl. and if i didnt have stock tires. who ever does do it should have other tires. 2.5 stockers are rated at 115 mph.

What do stockers have to do with a chip?

is this going to be better than the bullydog one if you had to guess?

and also, is it true there is no WOT limiter on our cars cause everyone in nissanclub says there isn't

they wouldnt remove the 112 mph limiter when the stock tires can only handle 115 mph. Has anyone heard back from them yet?

There is a WOT limiter on our car. Once you hit about 90 or so, i dont know the exact speed, it reduces acceleration to i think like 20% or takes 20% off or something. But there is a limiter.

And i PM'ed the guy friday morning and havent heard anything yet but its still early in the week.

does it also apply with not getting full power under 40, because it feels like it doesn't get full power under 40 but once it hits 40 it feels like a jump in the RPM's.

they could still add the feature and write it into the program.

Even if they ran a real world test i doubt they would take it any where near 112 while testing.

its possible but i dont know for sure. I notice in my 2.5 that its sometimes really sluggish in first. My engine will scream and it revs up normally but it doesnt want to move, but when i throw it in second it takes off. so im wondering if maybe its just our gearing in first.

ok i just got a reply from Scott at Superships:

"Hey Josh,I noticed your reply to the product testing inquiry. We are basically looking for vehicles to read stock files to see if we can tune the vehicles. If we can use your vehicle for up to a week we might be able to actually run some files through the vehicle.

Your vehicle will be used in a strictly safe manner and you will be compensated with a programmer of your choice for your help.

A rental car can be provided if needed.

If interested please forward me your contact info so I can forward it to the Nissan team. They will contact you directly to set up a date that works best for the both of you.

Scott"

I may try and proto this, the only problem may be getting my car out there and picking it up.

Heres the features they are gonna be testing

KEY FEATURES · 2 best-in-class tuning levels · 91 Octane Performance · 87 Octane · Fuel Economy tune included · Enhanced throttle response · Wide open throttle restriction removal · Speed limiter adjustment · RPM limiter adjustment · Diagnostic Library retrieves, displays and clears DTC's · Easy to install, Internet updateable

He also said "We are also working on trans options and tire/gear speedo calibrations but I do not foresee them being included in the initial product release.

Any future upgrades will be a free download except for possible offroad and racing options."
