The RevUp version of the VQ35DE has a higher redline (7000 rpm) and produces more hp than the standard VQ at the expense of some low end torque, but the RevUp has a flatter torque curve. The RevUp has variable exhaust valve timing that the standard VQ doesn't and there are some other minor differences (plenum, oil pump, rod bolts) as well.
But if you just need to know what kind of engine you have because you're looking for aftermarket parts that will work on your G - if your 2006 G has a manual transmission then you have a RevUp, if it's an automatic you have the standard VQ.
