The Stillen is safest because it's a "roots" style charger. The Vortech, similar to a turbo, is a centrifugal type of charger. A turbo uses exhaust gas to spin the compressor, a supercharger uses belts from the engine pulley system.
The stage 3-4 stillen will have more power, but as mentioned you need a hood cowl or aftermarket one to use it. The vortech doesn't have hood clearance problems.
Which one to get depends on you. What are you looking to do with the car? If you want a 500HP monster, go turbo. If you want more reliability (and don't mind the hood), go with the Stillen. If you just want 120-150 more HP, go with the Vortech.
