im a teenager with way to much time on his hands, i have a spare engine and im thinking about moching up a supercharger to it, i have a couple options, dont really think any will work, but it will sure as hell be cool if they did, it would take quite a bit of mods but it would be worth it, http://store.summitracing.com/...w=sku, or http://store.summitracing.com/...w=sku any ideas? just something i want to play around with, definatly would have to re program the ECM and put bigger injectors, somewhere in the 400s and bore it out maybe 30 or 40 over and find some low compression pistons, she would sure purr, i know its a long shot, but it would be really cool to do.

don't pay the summit price for one of those. Get a take-off from a mustang cobra. Cobra owners often swap to a Kenne Bell unit so the stock charger goes cheap. Boring 30 or 40 over isn't an easy thing with these motors. It's not a cast iron american type motor. Custom dished pistons are $$$. Are your chain guides done? The cobra charger could probably be adapted without too terribly much effort, but you'll need a good machine shop and there will certainly be hurdles.

no not rich, and yes i know its tricky, its a spare engine i have sitting around, chains are shot, pretty much everything needs an overhaul, ohh ya i work in an engine machine shop and i bore and hone blocks on the Rottlers and im also going to be attending the Northewestern university of Ohio to be studying in High Preformance motorsports and i wanted this engine to be my project engine to build the hell out of, i have access to most all parts companies that no ones ever herd of so, thats where i got my first set of guides, i think they are really high quality, but sorry to sound like im boasting, i dont want to sound like i know everything, cause i really dont, but i sure as heck try, i love everyones imput on this subject and any other sugjestions you may have, and ill have to check into that supercharger idea that you have from the mustang, thanks
