The most efficient radial supercharger uses 20+ HP [some use 30-40] from engine to turn it.20 x 746 watts= ~~15,000 watts of driving power at 100% efficient.Electric motors are 80% so 18,000 watts at minimum.
The Q alternator can create 1400 watts ------------need 15 alternators each drawing 4 HP to duplicate the mechanical driven drive result.
True they can get 0.5 psi from unit but that 15.2/14.7= yields a 3.5% density increase which might increase engine torque by 3.5%.
The problem is they are designed for SMALLER displacemt engines so they cannot feed a 4.5 liter engine but to 0.25 psi so the 3.5% is cut in half
Lots of expense and work for what might be 4-5HP. Weight of extra battery might offset most of gain.
