I suggest using the search button. It might help. If you have already used it, wait for someone to see this. I really don't know much about superchargers.

Read through this.

IMO the amount of fab work involved for the result you get if it works perfectly is too unbalanced to make it worthwhile. A properly sized off the shelf turbo kit yields more bang for the buck.

A few have dont it. But I don't know how come I haven't seen anyone do a centrifugal supercharger like a procharger. They are pretty standard, just gotta make a bracket, for the compressor.

I know nothing of super chargers but I've heard they would lag horribly on smaller engines

Superchargers do not lag. They drain power from the engine in minimal amounts because they are belt driven. Since they are belt driven as soon as you hit the throttle they spin. They problem with a supercharger is is that the air going into the engine is not cool. When you compress air it heats up. Turbo's lag but have intercoolers to keep temps down. The happy medium is the procharger like someone mention above. Its like a turbo housing and turbine belt driven. So immediate response and cool air temps. Just so you know your options. But ya i have never heard of a single cam with a supercharger but that would be pretty cool and something different.

Superchargers can be intercooled if the outlet can be vented into one. Some superchargers do not lend themselves well to it though. Centrifugal types are easy because just belt-driven turbo-like compressors.

Roots types are a b**** to intercool, or "aftercool" as I believe the blower guys call it. The outlet is really designed to bolt directly to a manifold.

For those a reverse sandwhich type is bolted between the blower and the manifold. See the 90 degree blue AN fitting and pipe? That is the water feed to the heat exchanger.

Prochargers aren't THAT great.

Just do this, but stick an intercooler.
