my dad seems like he wants to put a supercharger on this 1990 240sx he got me a week ago. he's convinced that one will fit between the engine and the radiator after we take the crank fan off and put another electric fan on. my question is, has anyone done this, or even thought about it? I woulnd't mind the extra power (who wouldn't?).

and the engine has like 147,000 miles on it. it would probably have to be rebuilt. but then again, my dad also suggested setting up a nos system for it and just blowing the engine up, then getting one from the junkyard for cheap.

Well i would say go for it, maybe pick up the extra engine right know and start building it on the side so i dont have that much down time from when that engine gose and you swap in the new one.

I have thoght about every kind of SC setup on the KAe block, just havent had the money to make it happen. there is alot of room in that part of the engine to make it fit. just remember that you should still run a intercooler big or small just to give you a pice of mind.
