I know that there are a couple of members who have a supercharger on their G35. What hood did you go with? Carbonfiber? If you wouldn't mind, maybe post a few pics of your SC G35 with it's new hood. Thanks

There is an article in the current Sport Compact Car of a VERY nice G35, stock appearance aside from nice chrome wheels and a domed hood for a supercharger...I'll go see if there are pics to post from their site...

I checked their site...they are an issue behind on the web. I'm going to my parents house later tonight, and they have a scanner. I'll try and scan the pics from the magazine.

There are fiberglass and CF versions of this same hood available. I'll get the manufacturer from the mag once I get home.

I have that magazine at home as well. It was the first time I remember seeing them do an article about the G35 which I was happy about, but they did kind of put down the car the article was about. Since it was an auto and had the bling bling chrome wheels. It would have been nice if they would do an article on a 6mt G35 coupe with perhaps more than 1 page. Something that really gets into what can be done with the car.

I know we have a member or two here on NICO who has a supercharger on their coupe.

Yeah, the article kinda made me mad too. SCC has been pissing me off a lot lately. Especially when I got their issue with the 100 greatest Sport Compacts and there was not one single Maxima!!! How can you have a magazine celebrating cars that impacted the import auto industry without the third and fourth generation Maximas??

And I personally love that 5a/t in the G35. My dad's A34 has it, and it acts very much like a manual. It's smart enough to engine brake on hills. The only complaint I have is that it can take a little too long after you shift the lever for the actually transmission to shift.
