i think the viper got the jump---supra may have owned if he had got a same start---big turbo--big lag---some gas would make that thing ALOT faster

first off - I dont think 'owned' is the right choice of words there, what was that 1-1.5 lengths..

second - we're talking about an FI 10cyl vs a FI 6cyl.. + gearing on the viper + no lag + lowish speed + short *** run.

That was a good race, short but cool.. both insane machines. I have a feeling at a higher roll the supra would prolly pull a little (especially if he was auto and could ebrake it), but I bet he'd get OWNED on the strip assuming good traction on both cars.

I'm with kiwi on this one... That supra's running a 3 litre 6cyl... Now maybe if you took one of those crazy Supras from japan making 4 digit dyno numbers... Then you'd see a race ^_^

Not a fair race imo. Not to mention I could buy 2 - 3 supras for the price of one viper...
