I know it's been done and its do-able. I just wanna discuss this for some real specifics and technical stuff. 409 horsepower out of a supercharged VG on pump gas is not bad at all: http://owners.procharger.com/supercharged/149
S/C is mounted where the A/C compressor mounts, which will be getting deleted anyway on mine.

The main reason I'm interested in this is the engine internals I have now will hold a small amount of boost. I would guess a safe limit would be 10psi (if anyone knows different let me know). With it not being able to hold 18-20 psi and be a 1,000,000 hp monster or whatever, I feel like turbo-ing it would be a gigantic waste of money until I put lower compression pistons in. A turbo build is just out of the question till college is over. So the next alternative is either NO2 or S/C and I'm not a huge fan of NO2.

Engine internal/"upgrade" list on my car:
wiseco 88mm 10.5:1 pistons
Ferrera 1mm over valves
Cometic h/g
ARP head/main studs

My engine isn't done at the machine shop (for those following my build), My pistons had to made to order so they'll ship out in a day or two or three.

Very interesting indeed. In your neck of the woods how readily available is E85?

Agreed, very interesting...I will definitely be following your progress, seems like a viable NA upgrade if the price isn't stupid.

Without e85 I would be very reluctant to run 10psi unless your wrist pins have been upgraded. Local guy here had supercharged his Z with a pro charger, I believe he may have even been a member here for awhile but he eventually tt'd it do to constant issues with the supercharger setup.

I would definitely be running E85 on it for sure. I'm getting wiseco wristpins as well. I know of three E85 stations in my city alone and I'm pretty sure that all of the surrounding cities have at least one station. I know it has alot more maintenance issues than a TT setup but if the power is sustainable and I don't burn my motor out then I fell like this would be a awesome N/A upgrade. Me and my buddies have been throwing the idea around for years but haven't figured out a way to mount it (never thought of procharging it). All we ever really worked with were eaton superchargers.
