Supercharged G50 in BR?!

I was talking shop with a mechanic (Mustang builder) buddy of mine Saturday about a 92 he's been struggling with for about 2 months ( I'll go fix it for him this week). I happened to mention some of the mods and times the Q's here were getting at the track.

He told me there was a guy running 9's with a supercharged Q!

I knew of the guy he was talking about because I met him 2 yrs. ago when I was running bikes. We spoke breifly before he did a run, but I wasn't into my Q in performance terms back then; I just wanted it to run right.

Long story short he has been a regular at the track for some years, and has obviously made some major upgrades since I last saw him.

This happens to be my anniversary weekend, so I won't make it to the track, but I will have an update for you guys next weekend.

I think I speak for everyone and we will be waiting to get more details! There has been lots of stories about a guy who knows someone but seldom do we see any proof, details, and the always welcome photos.

Please don't drop the ball on this one, I for one really want to get some details on this one.

If it weren't for the rain and my anniversary, I'd be at the gate when it opened Friday; I will, however, be going to the track very soon (camera in hand).

It shouldn't be too hard to find him as we'll probably have the only 2 G50's there!

If its actually a supercharged VH45 I'll be very impressed. Of course, he could have done some sort of motor swap that woudl still be cool!
