Can anyone tell me the life expectancy of the supercharger on a 3.3L Frontier. For some reason I remember reading that they live to 100k then s*** the bed and need to be rebuilt/replaced. Does this ring any bells for Frontier owners? Or does the S/C last longer/forever before getting tired? I have 3 months to shop around before I get rid of my 96 and I am centered on a Fronty or a Taco as a DD. No plans to mod whatever I end up getting at all, will remain stock. I see a lot of S/C Fronty's for sale and all seem to have 100k on them, coincidence?

What exactly did you say goes wrong? The bed?

Either way... if you have the money, my vote is on a used model like Bex's. The newer ones are just far superior.

Not a fan of the bigger Frontier. Plus I hate the interiors on them.

Maybe the heat they generate does it like turbos, synthetic oil and 3k changes may help contact nismo and stillen and see if they know what the deal with them is.

From what I have read they are a seal-for-life unit that can not be serviced. I could be wrong. I am not too interested in an SC Frontier at this point because of what I have read.
