VW's ad

The first part is pretty cool. I didn't much care for the Star Wars blip on the end.

As I find more of them, I'll post them up.

Yea I agree they should have ended the commercial at 43 seconds..

The first 43 seconds is pretty creative.

I liked the Star Wars ad they had before. Now I don't like it. They ruined it.

It's better if you know the context that Jerry owns the first and last of the original 911 Porsches, and was one of the first people in the US to own a 959.

I can't believe Jerry sold out the boys in Zuffenhausen for some hippy hybrid and I can't believe Honda doesn't have better things to do with their money that hire Jerry, or with their time by developing a new NSX.

They should address the quality issues in the Civic, the slow sales of the Insight, and the window-fire recall of the Fit, CRV & CRZ before shelling out for a Super Bowl spot.

I'm the one that was talking about him selling out Porsche, and it was jokingly. I've been a fan of Jerry for years, before he even had his own show (which I thought wasn't going to last the first season - glad I was wrong). :)

Oh yeah the Badger thats Busy is what I meant. Seinfeld was awesome, except for the last episode..

I agree I still have mixed feelings on the NSX. For the love of christo why was it not in the Wash. Auto show?! How could it not be there?

Am I the only one who DOESN'T like recent VW ads? The kid dressed as Vader one was great. But the dogs barking one is obnoxious as f***...I am trying hard to think of a more irritating sound than a dog barking and the only thing that comes to mind is more dogs also barking. And the dog-diet ad is just stupid. Not one laugh. I can see the parts that are supposed to be funny. They're not. Plus, 40 seconds of a dog running around and then a half second of car is not a car ad, it's just stupid. Even without the Star Wars bit at the end it's way too long. The Beetle looks great, show it off.

Plus Nissan already did car ads with dogs and did them right.

The NSX ad is also way too long. And if that exhaust note at the end came from a V6 I'll eat my Cadillac hat.

THIS is a proper car ad:

Or this:

Or this:

Dogs and Darth Vaders and cars parked in driveways are a s*** way to show off your CAR. The car should sell itself. The Michael Bay GM ad is ten times as good as VW fat stupid dog, and half the cars it advertises are complete s***.

The Fiat model, whoever she was, was hot. I also liked the M&M commercial and thought the Howard Stern promo for America's got Talent was funny.

For the record, I thought Seinfeld's commercial was amusing, but IMHO the best commercial was Kia fairy dust accident. Didn't make me want to buy a Kia, but it was funny.

for worst, the godaddy.com ads have gotten stale.

Ill have to agree with both MoD and Bubba.

I thought the M&M commercial was funny but doesnt wanna make me buy the car anymore (if I could afford it). Alot of the commercials were meaningless and dint represent the advertisement at all. I can say I only half payed attention to them and I dont really care. That stupid Star Wars seen still almost angers me in how stupid and random that part was..
