Well, would you know it. My not even month old Nissan Rogue had driver side door frozen. Wasn't able to open from either inside or outside. Actuator was moving and could see the latch engaging but handles were not responding.

So i took the car to the dealer, crawl out through the passenger side door only 5 minutes after dealer tells me that my door is working fine.

I guess the time it took for me to drive from home to the dealer was just enough for cable to defrost.
NTB09125 - CP 2008 was already done as per the file. However, dealer is willing to do the same NTB again and take it up with Nissan to cover the cost. I just need to bring bloody car with inoperable door as a proof.

I'm pissed of at Nissan :tisk: for using such a crappy parts/design, it's unbelievable. My FX35 had passenger side actuator fail and my drivers side was impossible to close in winter time. Had to slam the door few times before it would close. They replaced actuator, handle and other parts.

That's unfortunate bokito.

I have been locked out of my drivers side door twice. I had the repairs done as per the NTB last winter and I haven't had the problem since. It's been over a year, lots of cold weather, etc and never a problem. My Rogue has been dead reliable actually. Knock on wood.

Yes there is and the OP apparently had it done once already:

I'm with you, bokito. Nissan has honestly let me down in terms of quality. Almost seems as if Nissan is more 'French' in terms of quality than Japanese nowadays... (Though, they're still Japanese I suppose in terms of overall major reliability..)
I think my next car may have to be a Lexus... (Or a SVT Ford Raptor...now that, I could care less if it rattled as much as the rattle can I drive known as the Rogue, lol)
