touche! I agree, subs is not my thing, but I got to have my tunes. My guys and I sadly sing-a-long to the CDs on our long road trips visiting our other friends at school. It's a bit fruity, but keeps us entertained for 3 hours. :P My rear speaker cones are all messed up and sound scratchy, so after I upgrade cooling system, and do some suspension, I will probably get myself a new headunit and replace my old speakers. The thing about sound systems are, they're not ride specific, so if I decide to turn my S14 for a weekend only/track car, then I can take it out and put it in my daily driver.

Well guys, lol, I just wanted some more pics of the car. But this turned into a good debate. TO System or not to Sytem that is the question...actually the question was anyone have any more info on that car, lol,jk.

I'm going to have a nice system in the rear hatch of my car but its gonna be straight business and still leave access to my spare. 2 10''s on each side with amps mounts in the fiberglass closer. Should have it sometime after the body work is all done. Next year early.

To not have a/c or any radio of some sort is just plain ghetto. Same with stripping the interior... Fine for track cars, but daily drivers?!? 100lbs is still over for a decent sounding system. You don't even need a sub to have a good sounding system. Amp + Good Coaxials/Components should be enough if you're that worried about weight. Personally, I'd be more concerned about the lack of trunk space before weight.

Sure, nothing beats listening to your engine/exhaust, but it's not like you'll be racing to each stoplight.

Drifting Pretty = Nadine Toyoda?

Wish I could join, but it's girls only haha... sounds like they have some fun though.

how about this. I striped and going to be replacing my interior due to MY CAR INSIDE SMELLS LIKE CAT PISS. hrem....

Took out the a/c becuase its rusted over and locked.

Any car without a radio is boring. I love listening to my mom's radio in her van. Micheal Regan and all those other AM talk radio shows

i just dont agree w/ people that striping their car..just to make what? .2 sec faster? why? i personally think its stupid striping your ac, power window, inteior and etc. just to make .2 sec faster..if your seriously about saving that .2 sec then yes. if your not then just making ur car even look more bad!

That's true, you don't necessarily need to strip it, but why add more unnecessary weight? For now, the farthest I'll go to save weight is remove the back seat because it's worthless anyways and take out the spare.

Thats nothing... I rock the S14 JIC 3 inch Titanium Bullet Exhaust.

I could never stand a car without music... Infact my damn car is to loud for me right now so I'm going to get a cat... and do dynomat extream in the whole car... I dont care how much weight it adds... I want quick and slightly more quiet.

I'll try and record my S14 noise... Greddy Turbo, Greddy Down pipe, Test Pipe, JIC Full Ti exauts... Makes one VERY loud full 3 inch 240sx

man i cant agree with adding any unnecessery wirght to a performance car. a sports car thats modded up shouldnt have a big old system in it and if u just want a head unit and some interiors thats cool i guess, but i dont even listen to the radio when i drive so i dont need it. i rather listen to my engine and i want the engine to be loud as hell, there never to loud when it come to a engine imo.

plus a striped interior looks mean it lets you know the cars made for one thing "driving" and it looks nice with the interior metal custom painted to match the car and with a custom roll cage painted to go with the sceme.say a yellow car with the interior striped and panted yellow and a black roll cage, that nice.

i mean think about it, im not saying strip out the dash or door panels, you keep that, but the rear seat and carpet pull that out and the head liner. if that bothers u mabey you shoul get off the road cause that means your looking at the floor or the roof while u drive.

what does stripping the carpet do? it weighs all of 10lbs tops.

but you would leave the dash and door panels that probably weigh 75-100lbs together...?

you have no sense of logic, and on top of that no sense of style, bumble bee paint jobs are lame, and it would look even worse with the dash and door panels in there, that would jsut look tacky.

How long have you been driving for and where do you live? How much do you drive on a daily basis? Since you mentioned a winter car, I'm assuming somewhere northeast? A daily car in California with no AC and no music will make anyone crazy. Imagine a hot summer day sitting 3-4 hrs in traffic. You can rev your engine all you want while you sit there, but I guarantee you will get sick of it after 2 hours. The type of car you talk about is for pure racing only. A car like that, I doubt anyone will drive on a daily basis. Do what you said to your car and come back in 6 months and say you still like it the way it is. You also mentioned it takes your full attention to drive and sometimes you don't even hear the music? Then I guess you must be driving like this everytime:

If you are, I give you props because that is just some crazy stuff even for me .
