After a bit of experimenting, I finally got the load shift down on my Impreza, I can now shift the weight forward, and turn in smoothly, yet enough to create plenty of oversteer to counteract the under from the AWD. Its not perfect, but I'm getting better at it. I had some decent AWD drifts going, it was teh sex.

Better than I ever did. Best I ever accomplished was a sort of Scandinavian Flick which wasted a lot of energy and was a tad bit dangerous. I never made my peace with the super-notchy WRX transmission, and so downshifting upset the balance of the car to the point that any delicate weight-shifting was for naught, hence the manhandling. What kind of Impreza do you have?
