So all i need for my kat project to be complete was a downpipe, so since i was going on the boat(navy) for a month i decided to have a shop weld it up for me since i cant weld. So we hit port midway thru the boat dep and i call the shop and they havent even started on it yet!!! They told me there were other cars infront of mine and they have been really busy but once they start on it, it shouldnt take long. Ok understandable, i guess, and im on the boat anyhow so it doesnt really matter. Upon returning home i call the shop again and the same thing they still havent started!!! so i go up there and talk to the shop owner and he telling me to just be patient and ill get my car soon enough. So almost 2 months later still waiting for a damn downpipe. they said they will be done middle on next week so if not im just going to take my car else where. Sorry for the long post just had to vent.

yah, well I had issues with my megan downpipe (sat too low and scraped/hit everything including reflectors on the freeway)..
I went to the muffler shop, fifteen dollars and twenty minutes later, everything was fixed. Chop and reweld shouldn't take more than like 20 minutes dude, unless you're trying to re-invent fire.

good luck man.
I feel like they're giving you the run-around because you're not presently there. I'm sure they'd act differently and take things more serious if you're actually there or something. Try sending a friend to see wtf they're actually doing? I wouldn't be surprised if they were just sitting around scratching their heads on how to change a tire...
