super loud engine engine knock?

Hey guys i need help with a crazy noise coming from under my valve cover... i think.

Anyway after much searching and reading different posts and stuff i thought that maybe the noise was that timing chain guard everyone talks about breaking. i took off my valve cover and everything seems to be ok, nothing loose scratched broken or looking out of the ordinary, i think at least

Anyway my question would be anybody have any tips or ideas of what i should check its an s13 blacktop swappeed about fifty mi. ago with greddy rocker arm stoppers. it idles and drives fine but it has a crazy super loud knocking noise noticeable after about 2500rpms. not throwing any codes and im hoping its not something major since its been like 50 miles since it was swapped. o yeah by the way oil is fine. any help is greatly appreciated thanks guys.

can you turn the crank by hand? have you also checked the lash adjusters to see if they've got air in em?

do an oil pressure test
