I was just talking with a guy running a super 70 turbo and new manifold. Said the setup was pretty bad *** and he was in it fairly cheap. Just trying to find out if anyone else has ran this, I have searched but havent seen anyone else doing so

fearsometea on here was running one. Made 490 at the wheels with it--but like you said, it's just some ebay crap they are calling it a T70. That turbo lasted a few years IIRC.

The guy I was talking to did pick it up on ebay but said the car is strong as ****. Been together for a year, never on a dyno but street tuned with aem.

Im going to try it I guess, Ill post up some stuff about it as I get more progress. Bought the car a basketcase and had a hell of a time correcting all the mistakes of the swap. Now have the car running good and need to move on with this thing.

It was a fun turbine. A bit laggy so my power band was from 5500 to 8100 rpms. Its not a T70. Its some kind of copy of a holset turbine. The exh. wheel is an HX 40 and the compressor is bigger than a T70. If could use a bigger compressor housing though. It was used and abuse for years until I had a fuel problem an the ext temp got a little high.......opps
