Hey ladies and gentlemen! :wavey:
New to the forums here. Been browsing around for a little and I've always been a fan of Nissan. Hopefully I can learn a ton from this site, as well as viewing lots of nissan p0rn you guys have around here :gapteeth:

I currently own a P.O.S '95 Altima. It's my first car. I've always loved it, but it's been through so much, it's time for a new car. Being a full time student really doesn't help with affording nicer cars. I am hopefully getting a '06 Sentra SE-R Spec V sometime this week!

-Tony

welcome. I'd stick with the 95 unless there is a reason you want a huge car payment.

U13's aren't bad

I can't get pictures right now but I can list the problems with it.

-Leaking steering rack. I need to replace the fluid about once a month.
-Paint is completely faded off on the hood and the top.
-Driver door needs to be slammed to be shut in order to close
-bad 02 sensor.

it's just a mess.

As for the sentra, it's a pretty decent deal. 6500 financed. It's in decent shape. Mechanically it's in pristine condition. Just some cosmetic flaws.

Obviously o2 should be fixed as it only requires unscrewing it and replacing it by screwing a new one back in... connect the spade connector.

Paints whatever, that can be fixed/redone/ignored.

Open up your door card, I bet something isn't sitting right and is off by a cm.

Steering rack is probably the hardest thing on your list, and its not even that hard(does require some tools) But the repair costs to the altima not including paint is definitely under $300.

But Enjoy whatever Nissan you have anyway.

I appreciate the advice and help man. I'll try to get some pictures to show. I'm also doing this as a favor for a good friend of mine. I'm basically giving him the car for 300 bucks. And just for the record, I never had any beef with the U13's but I just think it's time for a new one.

IMO, I would keep the U-13 and just do the repairs on it. It will be cheaper on $$$. Just don't give up on it just yet. Everyone here on Nico are cool and nice so, just post some pictures Dude. :bigthumb:

I know you're all excited. But this is what it sort of looks like.

http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak ... 5500_a.jpg

but now with more damage. It was backed into, and the grill is hanging off, and the hood is now bent right in the middle. When I go 40+ mph, the hood moves up.

Sorry i can't get a better picture just yet. I've been working all of yesterday and today.
