What's up guys. Well, I just bought my first S13 hatch (it's a '91; basically stock) and it's pretty nice, overall, yet there's a few problems that I'd like to ask you all about before I go to "the professionals." My clutch slips a bit (the guy said he just replaced the clutch, master cylinder, and slave cylinder), The parking brake is in desperate need of tightening, and it needs some touch-up on the paint (but I'll have someone take care of that). I was wondering if anyone was willing to tell me how to fix the e-brake and if I could get some advice on what may be wrong with my clutch! Thanks to whoever helps me out!

Try adjusting the clutch by spinning the nut right above the clutch petal on the master cylinder. That the best that I can explain how to do it. The e-brake might be caroded or rusted. You can try br tightening a 10mm bolt on the side of the e-brake handle. I had to replace one e-brake cable and I still need new rear calipers because the seize up when i pull the e-brake too hard. Also check your rear brakes. Nick

You can adjust how much the clutch grabs a lot by adjusting the bolt on the back of the clutch pedal(rod that goes to master cylinder). I changed my clutch and when I went to step on the gas, the car would just rev up until I let off the gas, then it would catch and go just fine. I adjusted the master cylinder arm and it's been great ever since. He said he changed the master cylinder, so he probably never adjusted the arm which is making it slip.

574-240sx; Thanks for the e-brake help... I just found out that my left rear brakes are leaking fluid! 574-240sx and rousie13, thanks a whole lot with your suggestions for the clutch adjustment. I'll try it this weekend and see if I can get some better results...
