Hey everyone I'm sure a few of you seen me floating around the forums looking for new rims the past couple days, but I really like what I have been finding on NICO and I will deff be hangin around permanently. Some of you guys got some mad nice coupes!

I have a pretty stock coupe at the moment minus some exterior mods like custom powder coated rims, tints, debadged. I am new to the world of modding cars (19 years old only been driving for 3) but as soon as i got my coupe i fell in love with the idea of modding it.

My question for all of you is what performance mods should i be looking into if any (with a 2010 2.5 automatic). I am deff considering suspension mods such as a drop and RSB to improve handling but other than that should I just stick with visual mods? I'm not sure how much quicker you can make a 2.5 automatic.

Welcome to Nico officially.
I say go with eibach springs if you want the cheap way. If you have some money go with coil overs. You could do intake and exhaust too. I basically stuck to visual mods cause you aren't gonna make a 2.5 fast.

Thanks man,
Yea I would have to agree I'm guessing we're kinda limited performance wise with the 2.5, so I'll probably get the car looking the way I want before exhaust and intake. I'll try and get some pics up, like I said I'm new to cars so I'm gonna be lookin to everyone on here for advice.
My next project is interior LEDs I just need to decide on a color.

get the suspension mods for sure. springs if you're on a budget, rear sway bar, strut tower bar, and that sweet LSD Exhaust for the 2.5!

Whats bro Welcome to NICO......First thing I got was rims, tint, and mostly cosmetic mods. I would definitly look into Tein springs (im not sure if they make them for 2.5, maybe someone can confirm that????)

LBC, Phenom, MattV6, Nisogxs21, CodeRed and Corey(I forget his forumname) are some of the members near by they can definitely help you out. Just give them a shout out. Everyone here is like family and always willing to help!

No sweat man we have all been at it for 2+ years so you have some time to make it look sick.... If you want some spring hit up Brandon he might still have is 3.5 2008 Eibachs. Last I heard all you had to pay for was shipping so it be like $75 bucks  DOWNEDZEPHYR is his forum name he is a several up in this thread just PM him

welcome to NICO!

i'm in the same boat as you man. 19 years old and tryna get a good looking car! haha

exhaust wise, i can vouch for the LSD exhaust that it sounds/looks nice. For a drop, i'd say go with coilovers because you wont have to worry about the stock shocks going out on you. You should get some subs/speakers =]

Rims is your personal preference, but i personally love mesh-style wheels (i don't know why haha)

whatever you do i'm sure your coupe will look nice!

thanks bro deff gonna get on some tints as soon as this snow clears up, im not so sure how well gettin them applied would work with this weather. nice to see there's some members close by i'm gonna need all the help i can get, like i said new to cars but really want a nice lookin coupe. cops around give you any trouble with the 20%'s? i was originally gonna go 35% but a ticket here and there is worth having a nicer ride

KNock on wood i have been pulled over once for tints.. ( i have a nassau county pba) so i dont get tickets.. lol but otherwise i been pulled over for speeding more than tints.. they mention my tints and my tinted tails but only once got pulled over just 4 my tints n that was cuz i was directly next to a cop and he wanted to change lanes i slowed down n wen he looked at my car he did a double take and slowed up withe me pointed lit his lights n pulled me over.. but let me go with a "warning" and "make sure they are off" lol smh idot.. but thanks to my uncle i dont really worry lol....... but if ur really worried do at least 35% in the front 2 windows and 20% in teh back to n rear windshield.. looks freshh

Welcome. I'm in the exact same situation. New to modding, staying away from performance for now. I'm not expecting my car to be "fast" but I would like to have a small amount of power with improved response. I'm sticking to the aesthetics for now though.

IMO:
1. Coils / Springs
2. Rims
3. Body kits if you wanna go down that road.
