Just thought I'd say Sup to all yall. Just bought a 90 240 sx the other day as a secondary car and so far I'm loving this car. Anyways I notice there's two different types of 240? Can someone explain to me the difference? I'd much appreciate it. Thanks. Also looking for some affordable cosmetic upgrades, any ideas? Getting a new exhaust put on Monday, don't know what kind yet but we'll see. talk to yall later.

Another Alabama 240 owner... yay! Well, my advice is not to spend too much money until you really know what you want out of your car... my first car was a 85 MR2... and at first I wanted to make it look nice, so I did the exhaust, bought a nice steering wheel, 60 dollar shift knob, flashy wheels, all that junk.. then I grew up and realized what driving a car was about, and realized i wasted alll that money... so then I sold as much as I could, stripped the car partially, did the suspension, and autocrossed it :-p

Welcome to NICO.

1.Be careful who you listen to. 2.Always do your own research before asking questions.3.3500 dollars gets you a good ka turbo setup, anything less is rigged.4.Cars do not need to be slammed to the ground, that actually ruins your suspension geometry.5.You are old enough not to have to look cool.

If you keep those in the back of your head, you will do ok here. If you need help, feel free to ask. NISTECH is a great guy for detailed technical questions.

Other than that, good to have 25,000 +1 in the NICO posse.

Welcome...how much you get it for, any mods to it already mileage interior system etc.? You got 5 types of 240's coupe hatch vert zenki kouki. 89-90 are sohc 91 and up are dohc. 95-98 front ends are different 94 verts 91-93 got pop up headlights which are very sexy. and then you got the pignose early models. Figure out what you want to go with before you mod. You want Drag?Show? or become a drifting king... Decision is up to you.Plenty of posts made that will help you understand what you need to get to make your car better in every aspect welcome to the community
