Am I the only person who hates those big, bold warning labels on the sun-visors? They don't come off. I've been thinking about going to an auto interior shop to have them reupholstered. Does anybody else have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I think that's about the only way you'll get rid of them... hopefully they're not like the "do not remove by penalty of law" labels on the matresses or you'll end up in a cell with bubba and the Serta sheep. :D

That's a bummer. It will probably cost a couple hundred dollars. Somebody should sell something to cover them. I'll go get some estimates.

I've found upholstry shops to be very reasonable. I'd think you can get it done for $75 or less, depending on the material you use.

At that price it would be a no-brainer. Those labels are hideous. I figured they would charge at least $75/hour for their time and it might take a couple hours to do both sun-visors. I hope you're right.

Does anybody here happen to know if the replacement sun-visors from Infiniti would have the same warning labels?

Maybe you can use dashboard paint. I saw it used on a car restoration show. They used it on an old Vette. The dash was black so that an easy match. Some of the Q's colors might be harder.

Actually, the printed ones on the 94-96 should come off - Just a matter of using the right product.

Try a little paint thinner on a rag. Be careful!

Nail polish remover. Not as harsh as paint thinner. That might work. And your right Hitman, BE CAREFUL!!!

This is a 2003 Infiniti FX 35, not a 94-96 nor a Q. I don't think that the warning labels come off. It seems like it's part of the fabric that covers the sun-visor. The good news is that my interior is black, so it should be easy to match.

I thought of covering it with a bumper sticker, but that would look just as bad. I want black. :)

Thanks for all the help guys.

Ah - See how much WE pay attention?

I agree - Those are heat-printed on the fabric, and they are ugly.

If you are going to go to an upholstery shop, go for the Brick colored leather, with a black Inifniti Logo...

When you flip them down, the cars in front of you would see the logo.

That's a thought. I'll think about it.
