I assume you mean one of those sunshades that you place on the inside of the windshield while you are parked?

I use one of the 2 piece sunshades:

I find they aren't very effective at reflecting the heat of the sun. If I were to buy another, I would look for one of the reflective types.

There is one model from Heatshield that I would like to try. They have a fitment for the Rogue that is supposedly computer designed for the perfect fit. If anyone purchases or uses the Heatshield product, please let me know how it works!

Fits perfectly. I highly recommend it. We have one for each of our cars.

I bought jumbo size from walmart but its too big. Didn't have a time to exchange it for smaller size so I just cutted with scissors.

hmm, these look nice.. one question tho

Does it fold up nice? From the pictures, It doesn't look like it folds up very compact when not in use.

I have one of the "custom fit" - "closed cell" wind shield sunshades. It fits perfectly and works great. During my shopping on-line shopping one of the models I considered was the Heatshield. However... the thought process I used in the selection was as follows:

These sunshades get a lot of abuse - rolled and unrolled hundreds of times, thrown into the back seat, accidentally sit on, stepped on, and cooked in the sun. I don't expect them to last as long as my car. So... as long as the manufacturer advertises their product as a "custom fit" sunshade specifically made to fit my vehicle vehicle, and they are all advertised as being made with similar materials (e.g., mylar, velcro, sewn edges, etc)... I didn't care if it was an established "brand name" like Heatshield or not... I simply went shopping for the lowest price including shipping.

I purchased mine off eBay at the end of May and only paid $29 delivered! While the fit and quality are excellent and I have recommended the seller to several friends, BUT... the seller has since raised their price to $39 delivered ...so I would suggest shopping around as $39 in no longer the best price you can find.

Here's a pic and link to the one I found on Bay:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...98700

Here's a better price than the one I got off eBay. Even with shipping its two bucks cheaper at only $36.90 (Not to mention some people are uncomfortable buying off eBay.) http://www.courtesyparts.com/w..._7714

There are plenty to pick from as you can see from this Google search:http://www.google.com/search?h...=&aqi=

Fold up nice? That depends on the style you select. Some Sunshades have a circular spring sewn into the edge and actually do "fold" flat with a "Twist and Flip" motion and "will easily fit" in the glove box. They look like this when opened: http://www.amazon.com/Type-SS1...uto_1

The downside to Twist-Fold are they are simply two thin layers of UV coated nylon. While they "will" protect the dash from sun and reflect some of the heat but they do not have the "R Value" insulating properties of the mylar coated foam.

The silver mylar foam style sunshades actually reflect more heat than the folding nylon style, "and" will keep the interior of your car cooler, "and" are custom fit to your vehicles windshield (whereas the spring fold nylon style are not). The "downside" of the mylar coated foam filled screens is they do not fold flat!. They roll up. You toss them in the back seat or back into the cargo area. Here are some shot of the mylar unit rolled up to give you an idea of the size.

The Heatshield rolls up. I'm just guessing off the top of my head (haven't measured it) but I doubt you'd get it to roll up quite as tightly as the photo above.

It's very difficult to roll up it inside the Rogue since the windshield (and therefor the Heatshield) are so large. I generally pull it out and roll it up outside.

Just FYI... although mine does not carry the HeatShield trademark the designs are almost identical. Both mine and the HeatShield brand are made from closed cell foam with Mylar coating on one side and a clear membrane on the other side with fabric sewn trim.

When my sunshield arrived (HeatShield copy) arrived it was rolled up in a box. It was at least 6 inches in diameter when rolled. The closed cell foam is somewhat stiff and for a while my wife and I tolerated the large diameter when rolled. However I discovered it doesn't prevent a person from rolling it up tighter. I simply rolled applied more curve pressure during the rolling operation and got it down to the 3 1/2 inches shown in my photo. It now easily rolls up small every time.

Actually the accordion type sunscreen will present the same obstacle. The issue is the length of the windshield from top to bottom. This makes for a very tall sunscreen. From left to right it will accordion up... albeit flat… it will still be just as tall as the roll up version. Just FYI... neither me or my wife remove our sunscreen from the car and have never rolled it up outside the car as mentioned by takeshi… We simply pull one side loose and start rolling while its still above the dash area. Very easy. Once rolled up we hook the velcro tabs that are attached to the sunshade and throw it in the back seat.

Sorry if my earlier posts were misleading. You can definitely roll up the Rogue heatshield while in the passenger cabin. I just find it's more of a hassle but I'm used to dealing with the Heatshield in my S2000 (which has a windshield about half as tall as the Rogue's).

well, i actually needed 2 heatshields for myself and my wife's vibe. so I just ordered them from Heatshield web site. They knock off $10 if you order 2 of them So, its a pretty decent deal.

I'll let you guys know how they work out, and take some pics. The only thing I am concerned about is how easy it is going to be for my wife to roll it up. I hear its kind of a pain at first.

My heatshield just arrived, and it fits perfect, but it kind of sags just a little bit in the middle, and does not sit 100% flush up against the front windshield glass.

It does fit all corners 100% though.

I might have to contact them to see if this is normal or not.I can easily roll it up inside the car as well.
