Sunroof to regular roof?

Has anyone change their 240sx w/sunroof to no sunroof? I was wondering if taking out the roof panel is difficult?

i havent but it seems you could Just bash the ***** out, weld a piece of solid metal width wise across the middle of the hole for bracing, weld some plate steel or aluminum over the hole, Sand down the welds & paint.

In that middle bracing, you could use that to mount the dome light (how its supposed to be in regular roofs) and just stretch a new headliner out and tack it up.
