Sunroof to moonroof conversion

Is there a way to replace the metal sunroof with a glass moonroof?

You can do it if you can find a custom glass fabricator to porperly cut you a "window" that size. The glass may be heavier than the metal roof which could tax the sunroof motor. I think it would be a pricey conversion.

Also, you'd have to install a hand-sliding cover so that you could shut out sunlight. (If you remove the assembly and replace it with just a sliding glass, you would never be able to shut out sunlight).

The sunroof on the Q and J is made from aluminum to save weight.....

I dont like moon roofs, i dont want light to come in unless i have it open.
