SUNROOF

hello guys, I got a notice on my wrecked Q today saying it has to be gone from the house in 3 days. Not really done parting it but im taking what i need. I started working on removing the sunroof and got stuck and needed some help. I removed the nuts from the 8 or 10 brackets that hold the sunroof to the car. after they were loosened, it felt as if i can just pull the sunroof out if it isnt for an adhesive that has bonded it to the car. Just wanted to know where i am in the removal process and how to take it out completely. Also there is no battery or anything on the car so the sunroof is left in the closed position.
