sunroof seal help

to anyone that has the s13 se, i'm pretty sure most of your seals on the sunroof is deteriorating has anyone ordered or found a supplier that i can get new seals from? or do i have to buy a whole new complete sunroof assembly from nissan?

Nissan won't sell you only the seal? I found one in the junkyard just the other day that was in good shape, mine is in good shape too except for where i cut it.

i searched and found someone mentioning that nissan does not sell just the seal so you have to order a whole new sun roof somwhere around $600+ ..... thats why i was trying to see if anyone has replaced the seal that is around the sunroof .....and where did they get the seal from..

The seals for the 240sx are getting harder to get just like alot of other parts that are becoming discontinued, like the weather stripping and hydraulic lines. I'm pretty sure you can get the weatherstripping for the sunroof alone. Call your dealership or ask for Mike at Midway Parts Team to see if they can get that part. He sourced alot of weather stripping for my car that I figured would be discontinued. But don't assume you can't get it without at least making an easy call.

Nissan in Joplin, MO sold it (I am sure they all do, but I didn't call all of them). The bad news is they wanted 85 bux with my Student Discount. I got one from a guy in the classifieds that was parting his out. Mine is good, I just paid ship (ten bux).
