Sunroof Rattle Fix

I have a 93 240sx, and the sunroof got loose over time, so I put a rectangular rubber spacer between the glass and the latch. The clamping force is very high now, but the whole latch assembly moves and bends the plastic on the headliner's border, and the sunroof still goes up a little bit. Over bumps, it still rattles like crazy, even with a high clamping force.

I don't know what else to do, I went to the junkyard and got another latch mechanism since mine had 1 metal arm missing. This latch has both metal arms that swivel, AND I used a spacer.

Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance. Once I deal with this I will move on to the clutch squeak of hell. lol.

I applied washer between the body and the latch.
