Sunroof question...

alright.... i know this is a newb question..

but how do i take out the sunroof in my s13 hatch?

iv seen one of my friends just take his out before he goes driving.... is it simple or is his just broken or something? Cuz sometimes i would like a little more air then just the venting action it does now..

lol ^ that works. OR, theres actually a way to take it out.

in the front of the the sunroof towards the middle, theres a plastic slide that locks into a metal loop. slide the pin out.

then in the back of the sunroof, in the middle again. theres the actual latch. on both sides of the latch theres two little black "buttons" push them in while at the same time pushing on the sunroof near the latch. it should pop out and lift all the way up.

then, once you can lift the glass to the point of being at a 90 degree angle with the roof, you have to slide the entire piece of glass towards the passenger side of the car. then you can lift the glass out.

its kind of tricky the first time. but once you figure it out you'll be like " s*** thats easy"

i love going "topless" but those wind deflector things seem useless. they seem to have no noticeable effect on wind noise or ventilation.

are you talkin about those plastic visor looking things that sit in front of the sunroof?
