sunroof Q

i have two buttons. one raises and lowers it and the other keeps it in a position flat with the roof or lowers the back slightly - should it slide inside the roof or does it just makes a little gap for venting?

anyone know how to reseal an old roof? leaks a little at the car wash.

One button is for the "sunroof" feature, which raises and lowers the back edge of the glass, really for venting purposes. The other is for the "moonroof", which will retract the glass all the way back over the rear passenger compartment, if so desired, exposing the sky. That switch should perform two functions, partial open/close as well as full open/close. The partial is light finger pressure, the full is slightly more with a click at the end, or "one-touch" full open/close.Confused??? --Mike

are you sure it needs to be sealed, as in reinstalling weather strip or it is just not closing properly thereby not sealing correctly?

if it's not closing properly then it needs to be adjusted not resealed.

don't really know but my moonroof feature is out and the little arms on the back sides that raise or lower the glass are somewhat loose - when the roof is closed i can still push it down and raise it up a little by hand.
