Good morning to everyone,

I have a question. My sunroof jumped off track and I took it to a sunroof shop. There they told me that the rack that it sitting on is broken. I can't open it now and when it rains, water comes in and my roof is wet. Do anybody know what I can do to save 2k to get this fix at the dealership? Also where is T3 in Georgia and do they have a website?

I believe if you have the time, this is a DIY project very similiar to the J30. Instructions for the J30 can be found at http://www.fuzzycats.com under the DIY section.

The Q45 guys will be here shortly with there suggestions.

Have you tried manually closing it w/ the allen-key style wench that came w/ the car. It inserts directly into the roof motor.

Sounds like it, mine also had the "tire-stops" and the lug nut wrench stored in it.

I'm not 100% sure it's actually an allen key design, but it's very similar.

Is it a cable binding or a track issue? Infiniti has a sunroof repair kit for the J30, it's only $47.70.

Would that apply to a Q45 too?

Sorry Heath! They don't make a repair kit for the G50.
