I have an 2007 Infinity M35. I just recently had the windshield changed and now when I push the sunroof button the sunroof starts to open and stops. Each time I push the button the sunroof opens about 2 inches and stops until I push it a gain and it moves another 2 inches. If I continue this process I can get the sunroof to open and close. There is no indication of the motor being in a bind. Could it be the switch?

The sunroof lost its memory. Just keep opening it until its completely open then hold the switch in the closed position for 10 seconds.

How much does it move? Mine feels flimsy and moves only slightly at higher speeds (I hear a consistent low hum coming from the sunroof when open at high speeds). Do you mean the actual bar is flimsy or the springs? You might want to try some white lithium grease on the joints.
