Sunroof opens on its own

I left my sunroof open and it rained. The inside was very wet. The sunroof did work fine to close it, but after the car dried out, the sunroof only works usually right after it starts after shutting it down. Recently, the sunroof will now open to the first stopping point on its own. I will star the car and at some point within a few minutes, the sunroof will power itself open to the lower position as if I had pushed the button. Sometimes, I can push the button to get it to close, but more often, I have to stop the engine, and reinsert the ignition key to close the sunroof completely. It appears to have a short somewhere. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
