I assumed the same with my Murano (and the user manual confirms it). But something is wrong and the Sunroof DOES NOT close after I shut off the engine (the windows close with no problem). The manual states and I quote that:
The automatic sunroof is operational for about 45 seconds even if the ignition switch is turned to ACC, OFF or LOCK position. Opening either door will cancel the power to the sunroof.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a system setting I should enable? Should I go to the dealer and have them look into it? It really bugs me that I have to turn the car on again just to close the sunroof.
Any input is appreciated.
I would call the dealer, if it something they cannot take care of over the phone, you can bring it in for them to fix, something does not sound right. Good Luck!
