I just bough a 2007 Murano SL and getting used to all the controls...in my previous experience I know I always forget to close the windows/sunroof before shutting off the engine...usually not a big deal since in all my old cars windows/sunroof were operational for about 30-45 seconds after engine shut off.
I assumed the same with my Murano (and the user manual confirms it). But something is wrong and the Sunroof DOES NOT close after I shut off the engine (the windows close with no problem). The manual states and I quote that:
The automatic sunroof is operational for about 45 seconds even if the ignition switch is turned to ACC, OFF or LOCK position. Opening either door will cancel the power to the sunroof.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a system setting I should enable? Should I go to the dealer and have them look into it? It really bugs me that I have to turn the car on again just to close the sunroof.
Any input is appreciated.

I checked my sunroof today and mine does allow me to open and close it after I turn the car off, however, I have a 2009. But if your manual says that it should work then it should. I'm not aware of any user programing required to enable the sunroof to operate after you turn of the car.

Good luck.

I would call the dealer, if it something they cannot take care of over the phone, you can bring it in for them to fix, something does not sound right. Good Luck! :dblthumb:
