SunRoof Noise

Okay, I've been to the dealer 3 or 4 times, if not more than that already because of my sunroof. Since the day I bought the car July 17, 2007 it has made this viberating noise in/ on the sunroof when I am driving the car. It is DRVING ME NUTS. I informed the advisor and hes response was its normal. This guy must think I'm an idiot. The next few more times when I brought the car in for my oil changes, the told me that they didnt hear anything.

My question for everyone is....1. does anyone have this problem and if so what was done about it. 2. What am I supposed to do about this??? I'm so ticked about this that I dont care about the car anymore!!! I even went to the extreme by telling them I contacted my lawyer about this issue so scare them up alittle. Their response: Stop in when the car makes the noise and we'll check it out right away. <--------- Are they kidding me?????

If you can recreate the noise when you drive, then ask them to have a tech sit with you for diagnosis and point the noise out to the tech while you drive. Sometimes they way they drive or the routes they take may not recreate the same problem you experience.

mine had that same issue, but it went away after a few months

Mine defenetly doesnt make any noise. Just take it in there and demand that they have a tech take it apart a fix it. Or use a tape recorder or video camera to record the noise.

Ii understand you completely. It always makes this noise even after I took it in for the sunshade clip fix. I've brought it in a total of 5 times and they always give me ride home and call me the next day saying they fixed it. I'm pissed too.

do you have the deflector on it.... ?? mine was super loud and then i took it off and now its all better and it looks better too.

I have the same problem.I have been the dealership route, and have the new clip installed also.

I think the new clip solves the original problem, but creates a new one.The rattle does not seem to be comming from the same place but it's definetly from the sunroof, and now it sounds like someone is rapidly tapping on plastic with a little pencil. Only happens when I go over little bumps, but it sure does drive you crazy.
