Sunroof leaking / how to repair

I own a Nissan Maxima 1993, & the sunroof leaks. This has been a common problem for quite some time. Is there an easy way to repair this & not too costly? Is this something a general mechanic can do?

Not sure about a maxima, but on the altima there are drain holes to let the water drain away. If you open the sunroof they should be located in the corners of the hole. they could be blocked with dirt.
