Sunroof Leakage When Going Through Automated Carwash
Has anyone had this problem when going through a carwash with the power jets. I noticed water was leaking through the sunroof. Is this a defect or are the jets just powerful enough to leak through ? Any helpful advise ?

Wow, I haven't had this problem. I am so obsessed with this car that I took it through 4 car washes in the first 2 weeks (including the touchless one at the Sunoco with the high pressure sprays).

This shouldn't happen. Maybe a bad seal. I would have the dealer check it out.

I own a EX as well and had it wahsed thrice at a automatic carwash, had no leaks . Are you sure the moonroof was completely closed, if yes then go and see you service people right away.There is a problem with your car you need to have it fixed ASAP!!

Sun roofs, HATE THEM!! First one I had was in a '72 LTD. Leaked from day one and never got fixed. Went to test drive a SHO in '89 BRAND NEW! At 107 degrees that day the salesman started the car and opened the sun roof to cool it off before we drove it.
I told him I hated sun roofs citing my previous experience and he said they had all that fixed now. Guess what? It would not close when we tried to close it.
My brother's 750BMW has a S/R and he said the only way to stop the wind noise is to bump it up. It does have the deflector.
Do all EX's have S/R's?

I just went through an automated car wash yesterday and water started leaking through my roof too.
It happened during the part where the jets started hitting my roof and the water started leaking through and worse my roof opened right up.
It was strange that my roof would have opened because I turned my engine off while going through the wash. Anyone ever had this happen to them?

Automated Car Washes ? What's that ?
The last time I went through one was in 1976... and haven't used one since.

My 1982 Chev Camaro Z28 had T-Roofs... no problems.My 1984 Chev Camaro Z28 High Output had T-Roofs... no problems.My 1985 Toyota 4Runner had one... no problems.Our 2001 Volks "Sport" New Beetle had one... no problems.Our 2005 Chrysler 300C HEMI had one... no problems.Our 2008 EX35 has one... no problems yet.
I never took any of these through a freakin Rip-off, Poor Wash-Job, Overpriced, Automated Car Wash.
The last time I went through one was in 1976... and haven't used one since.
