Just a heads up for future searchers. I noticed a leak in the courtesy light/sunroof control panel in my 97. Just a couple of drips through the sunroof switch, who knows how long is been a problem as we haven't had rain in weeks/months here in GA.

Well, after a little invesitgation, it turns out that the sunroof motor gear exits through the roof and has a soft foam seal that keeps water out, until it doesn't. Removing the courtesy light takes about 3 seconds (pops out with clips) and removing the sunroof motor takes about 10 seconds (3 screws). I added a touch of sealant and will wait til morning to report back.

This is the third failure in 40K miles, (previous two were ABS relay and burned out license bulb) this car is killing me!!
