sunroof hose problems

i have a 90 fastback with a sunroof that the previous owner jus happened to be a dumba$$, and was obsessed with weight reduction, basically he removed everything including the sunroof hoses, well i got the hoses now and i got the rear ones in just fine but the front ones are the real pain, im jus wondering if anybody else has tips or tricks on how to get the front ones all the way down the front window pillar, thanks
