Sunroof glass weatherstrip replacement

I've got a 92 240sx coupe with the power sunroof. The seal around the glass is in very bad condition, dry rotted, cracked, and holey. I know that the weatherstrip/seal is available seperately from the glass through a Nissan Dealership, but I can't find a way to remove the old one from the glass.

Has anyone done this before, or know how its done?

in the FSM it says that the weatherstrip is bonded to the glass with an adhesive. I would try to use a plastic scrapper and try to lightly get under the seal, then after removing as much as possible go back with a mild solvent and clean up the area to prep for the new seal.
