sunroof gap

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi, I just purchased a used ex35 and when the sunroof is closed, the front of it sits about 1/2 inch lower than the roof. Is this normal? I poured water over it and it didn't leak. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you and i'm totally loving the car.

Take it back to the dealer as it sounds like the sunroof needs to be re-calibrated to factory spec.

Agreed. Mine is "flush".

It may not have leaked because there is a drain built in the roof/headliner that diverts water towards the bottom of the car.

Like the others have said, it still needs adjustment.

My EX's moon roof was flush, but it still leaked water when subjected to the blow dryer at the car wash. The Infiniti dealership fixed mine.
