I haven't seen a G without a sunroof. I'm assuming we all have one, but do we use it? One way or another, we spent about a grand on it. Would you rather not have it? Do you use it? (I know it's winter in many areas, so assume summer)

I saw a study that Nissan did that found as many as 90% of the people with sunroofs never used them. I use the option where the back tilts up 2 inches or so, but I rarely open (retract) the glass into the roof.

I also tilt it more than I have it completly open. One of its advantages is when the car is parked in the hot sun in the summertime leaving it tilted allows heat to escape from inside the vehicle.

My sunroof is always open and the windows are always down...I love the open air. Well, ok, today they are closed...the sky pissed all over the G today.

I use it often as long as it's not too cold. It feels good to have fresh air.

I don't have one

I miss it too, because my I30 had one and I loved it. Especially when I used to DJ and needed to wake up. I would at 11:30 pm to work with some trance with all of the windows half down and the sunroof all the way open.

That and an energy drink always did it for me!!!

I don't have one. I couldn't afford the loss of an inch of headroom.

Well i have my windows down, and the roof open all the time!

I only close them when it is raining or when it is like 90+ outside.

Even when it is like from 30-60 outside, i will turn the heat and the heated seats on and keep the windows down and the roof open.

Most of the time when it is nice out i will go into places and leave the roof open.

I love the open air, and the Music Rockin'

I got my G used so i didn't have to pay for that option lol

This is a great way to look at it. I think it will be pissing all day long on thrusday. I love the piss when the G is dirty. It gets a free bath.

And if i find an emty parking lot that is nice and wet I can have a little fun

I love to Drift.

I always use mine when the weather is nice, but i almost always tilt it rather than open it all the way. I could never own a vehicle without a sunroof.

All the time, weather permitting, although I open it all the way unless I'm on a highway, then I usually don't have it open. I do the same as telco, too, leaving it tilted up when parked, but I close the sunshade slightly to keep out even more sunlight.

I use it all the time.. even in the winter, as long as its not below freezing outside. I just turn the heat on a little, fresh air is nice.

It's my first car with a sunroof, so I use it all the time! Like most others, I use the tilt more than the completely open position.

320+ days of sunshine a year, so I have mine open all the time. I don't have a farmers tan, I have a drivers tan! My head and left arm are darker than the rest of my body from the sunroof and arm hanging out the drivers window! This description probably makes me sound like one goofy looking Motherfugger, but I love the sun & wind in my face when I drive!

Too much wind noise, IMO. I've had my car for three months, and I've only enjoyed having it open when all lower speeds around town.

More design engineering to minimize wind noise would be very helpful.

Yeah - I use mine all the time... I'll never go back to a car w/o a sunroof. In the summer time is when I open the sunroof, otherwise I just tilt it for extra ventilation.
