sunroof conversion

i wonder if it would be possible to put a power sunroof on the s13 hatchback does anyone know of anyone who has done it or anything like it id appreciate all positive comments thankyou

anythings possible if you have the money. ive never heard of anyone doing it in an s13 tho.

It could definitely be done.

It would be aftermarket and would have to be the design that opens upward and retracts OUTSIDE the roof like on the Acura Integra.

Like the Integra, there's not enough roof on the 240SX hatchback to get the glass far back enough to use the traditional "retract down, slide back" setup in most cars.

There are kits available to do this and, in fact, in aftermarket POWER sunroofs, the "up-out and back" setup is the most common because it's the easiest to install and requires no interior headroom.

Unless your real short it would have to pop upand slide..Shouldn't be all that hard..But if you don't have some engineering buddies to calculate angles etc. you'll mess up quick.

Screw sunroof, go for a custom targe top. That'd be sick.

yeah i thought it would be one of a kind. im gonna look online more for some more details . hopefully it could be done but thanks for all the info

screw that no way in helll i would ever cut a hole in my rooof so the sun can come in....not to mention the fact that it is a structural area and not to mention the fact that glass is heavy as shi+

well seeing how my car has a sunroof already. and beside i was talking about a conversion so i can make it a power

If you want to be original then go for it. Otherwise I would go for another mod and save the money.

well thats the whole reason i started this topic was too see if anyone has done it or know of any power roofs that would fit with modification
