Had the battery replaced on my 03 G35 and found that now the sunroof will not open (not even the inch I have seen in other responses). Most of the fixes I have seen are around opening the vent, closing and that seems to reset the auto open... not me because it won't open at all.
Any direction will be appreciated.

Oh yeah, at the same time my turn signals went screwy... they actually work on the outside, but I have no indication (no clicking or blinking)... at least the people around me know my intentions!

Thanks for your response!

Probably needs a reset. I couldn't find the instructions for Infiniti, but here's the ones for a Maxima.

The reset procedure for the sunroof on my 02 Maxima is to tilt the sunroof open then tilt it closed again. Once closed hold the tilt close button for a few seconds. This resets the slide control. If your sunroof is stuck in the open position you can use the tilt open/close to wiggle it back to closed.

Thanks for the response. That might work if I could get it to open at all, but it is closed won't budge using any of the controls. So far no luck in even locating the fuse...

When my previous 06 G35 needed a new battery, the dealer was only a few $$ higher than local auto parts stores.
I had the dealer replace my battery with a 700 CCA Interstate battery. Everything worked, car was washed and vacuumed while I ate their snacks and watched TV
Life is too short to deal with this BS
BTW I think if you plug in a battery back up thru a power outlet you can save all your settings prior to disconnecting the vehicle battery but I'm not sure.
Good luck. I hope you figure it out
