Sunroof Clicking noise. . .

The sunroof on my 95 240sx makes a loud, repetitive clicking noise when I bring it to the closed position. The click continues for as long as I hold the switch to close. It becomes so annoying that I have to force it by hand to get it to close. But, If I hold the switch on the open position, the sunroof works perfectly

Any ideas on what I should look for? Thanks in advance.
